At the same time, Cheryl is the primary source of funk, spunk, and spontaneity that defines the spirit of angryporcupine*design.

Graduating from The Ohio State University Department of Design, holding a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design (BSID) with an emphasis on Visual Communications, Cheryl brings twenty years of diverse industry experience to each project. She has worked for several design firms and corporate marketing departments as a staff designer, art director and creative consultant. Those firms and corporations include — a to z communications, Gwen Francis Design Group, Envision Media, The Limited, Macmillan/McGraw-Hill, and Bath & Body Works.

Cheryl's mastery of digital media is complemented by a formal education in traditional design methodology and theory. In addition to a thorough understanding for the visual language of design and typography, Cheryl's skill set also relies heavily on the strong craft skills including hand cutting, hand binding and the use of non-traditional production materials.

Cheryl is a member of professional organizations such as AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) and WADC (Western Art Directors Club).
