Amber Networks (now part of Nokia, the world leader in mobile communications) is a networking infrastructure company widely known as the developer of the first fault-tolerant routing platform. The client requested a unique and memorable invitation that would celebrate their official debut at SuperComm 2000. SuperComm is the premier annual communications exhibition and conference, with well over 4,000 attendees from 100+ countries.
The event was Amber Networks "dazzling World Premiere" debut and the invitation was targeted to industry VIPs. In order to add some glamour to the event, the invitation was designed to house a keepsake often associated with world premieres — a pair of black Ray Ban sunglasses! The invitation unfolds to reveal event information and the sunglasses (which doubled as the attendees ticket into the Amber Networks booth).
